Didn’t meet my expectation from the reviews. Spare ribs were too dry.

Excellent food, we had a ladder, schnitzel and hand cheese, everything was delicious! we were warmly received and served. We will come back in any case!

A great cider restaurant with excellent schnitzel dishes. The Frankfurter Schnitzel and the mushroom-cream schnitzel with spaetzle were delicious, the homemade Ebbelwoi is also very good. A real treat for schnitzel and cider lovers!

A fat, bald waiter handed me a bill. I paid with a fifty and he pocketed the money. Then he told me that he was wrong and gave me another bill that I should pay now. He only released my fifty when asked. "He would have forgotten that" ... Apart from that, the knuckle is made of rubber and is of questionable age. The waiters only wear a corona mask if they don't take a smoking break between the guests.

There’s no better Ebbelwoi in Frankfurt! The Frankfurter Schnitzel and an Apple wine is what you want to order!

The restaurant is always nice and we had a great evening here. It was not only the attentive staff that was a total hit during our visit, but also the unique climate. We didn't have to wait long for the food and our drinks. That was great because we were really hungry that evening. The restaurant is really very stylish. No cheap decoration, but the colors were very nice and coordinated with each other.

We wanted to get some apple wine and proceeded to look for an empty table since none of the staff paid any interest to us. Then the server rudely asked us if we spoke German and explained how we should wait until they point us to a table, say hello and desinfect. I understand the safety rules, but if guests don't see the signs, then obviously they weren't made visible enough. And the server could have said the same thing in a nicer tone without offending the customers. We left without trying to order anything due to the way we were treated. Extremely disappointing.

I wanted to have a nice dinner and try the local Apple Wine. I am so glad that i found this place. The outside was completely packed, so we got a table inside. Since all of the action was taking place outside, the bartender was chatting with us in between pouring wine. The food was delicious as was the service.

Super great economy! Alert and personable staff. I can only recommend it. The coherent waiter - just entertaining. Very funny and accommodating. I can only recommend it to every tourist. And not to forget; Frankfurter schnitzel must be eaten there. Outstanding. Very large portion; Price-performance ratio very appropriate. Food was there incredibly quickly, even though it was busy.

Cozy interior, decent priced drinks and food. Apfelwein was a nice refreshing drink to have along with the green sauce with boiled eggs and potatoes as a little snack. Service was fast, staff friendly.

Delicious beer and delicious schnitzel. it's the best. It may be a good idea to have Schnitzel with 3 or 4 people with a beer in hand when you are hungry before dinner. (^^)

We had reserved for 10 people and had to squeeze on two beer benches, on request it was not possible to get at least one additional chair - supposedly there wouldn't be any more. The service was unfortunately very unfriendly and clumsy and never tried to solve the space problem. The food was ok - but I've eaten better green sauce - the eggs were more than hard-boiled and had an unsavory gray veil on the yolk. Unfortunately, the waiter offset his change by 10 € - which we noticed too late. Too much tip for poor service and average food - there are definitely better cider places out there. Pity!

Quaint economy in Sachsenhausen. Fast service, great tarte flambee, sausage salad with fried potatoes very good. Grilled ribs was actually a smoked pork and then a little dry. Very well attended on a Saturday evening. The four of us just got a place.

Very friendly staff, typical german setting with german food for a great price. Portions are big as well!

Tasty traditional German food and excellent local dishes from the “Hessen” region (where Frankfurt is). I am personally not a big fan of “Apfelwine” (apple-wine), but the one they serve here was way better than usual!

Seldom had such a friendly and cheerful service. We were warmly welcomed and served. The portions are huge and delicious. There is a lot of space and there is a great, happy atmosphere. Great selection of German cuisine with Frankfurt specialties.

Traditional Äppelwoi (cider, hessian style) pub. Excellent traditional German food, don’t miss out on the famous Frankfurter Grüne Soße (Herbs in a Sour Cream base), which they even offer with Schnitzel. The whole place is a bit like a time warp. We loved it! Thank you guys, for the great food and hospitality!

Typical Frankfurter Ebbelwoi-Gaststätte with a good selection of traditional dishes. From Handkäse, with or without Musik, to Grüne Soße, with various sides, to Rippchen mit Kraut and, of course, Ebbelwoi (Apfelwein), also hot or gespritzt. Good portions with reasonable pricing.

I was going to isolate the restaurant with bad attitude, but it was full. The result was to go to this room, unexpectedly no need to wait, the waiter was very good, and later ordered fried pork hair, crispy outside, soft inside, fried pork chops, desserts super delicious

Authentic German restaurant with nice outdoor seating. They do not take credit card and it is cash only.

Pretty small so it sounds a lot louder. Food is good and ebbelwoi is priced well. Paying in cash is the best option because they have a 30€ minimum for cards.

This was the authentic thing. Local Germans dinning. No tourists. Amazing food and good services. Prices were correct. A bit off the tourist path but very worth it.

A delicious place with great customer service. Special mention for our waiter Juan. He was awesome!!! It's my 1st time in Frankfurt and Germany in general, and this experience was excellent. Don't hesitate to try out their schnitzel and an apple pie. I will definitely come back jua

I couldn’t choose because there’s so much amazing food on the menu! In the end I went with tips from my local friend, and got Handkäse and schnitzel with Gruhne Soße - absolutely delicious. Also a very authentic Frankfurt experience - would 100% recommend

Great food, apple wine, and atmosphere with very friendly staff. I also appreciated that they had a bar for people traveling alone. You won’t be disappointed with stopping here for a drink and a bite of local cuisine.
